Toró is one of the beaches in the municipality of Llanes who won the Blue Flag eco-label in 2015 and in the past years. It is a semi-urban beach just outside the town of Llanes, closer to Cué, really popular during the summer months.
It’s really easy to find Toró (which also means crowded) and easy to recognize. As you can see in the images above, it’s a beach with really peculiar rock formations scattered all over.
It’s a rather small beach (220 meters long) of sand and rocks with all the amenities you might need. It is surrounded by restaurants and parkings that, even so, are really crowded in high season.
One restaurant that is exactly on the beach has wooden tables and benches but they are not for picnic. It also has a kids playground but it is only for the customers of the restaurant. Sorry about that.
Toró beach benefits from a lifeguard service in high season, has toilets, showers and it’s accessible for people with limited mobility.
There is also a camping in its vicinity, situated in a place with amazing views over the beach and the sea. This camping must be pretty awesome since it’s located right between the Toró beach (to the East) and the Puertu Chicu beach (to the West).
